Principal's Welcome

It's my pleasure to assist you in the critically important decisions concerning your child's education. The goal of Heritage Christian is to assist parents in their Biblical responsibility to train their children and serve as an extension of the family in uniting home, church, and school.

We are a ministry to help all churches and denominations who desire a Bible-based education for their young people.

I trust you are blessed by your association with Heritage Christian.

Sincerely,

Stephenie E. Brugger

About HERITAGE

We provide an atmosphere of learning and accountability that motivates students to discover Biblical purpose, principles, and passion.

Students must have PURPOSE - To discover purpose IN life, we must see our world through the lens of the Bible.

Everyone must ask the question at some point – Who am I?  Our purpose flows from how we view God and our relationship with Him.  Is man the center of life or God?   Our students will be taught to view God as Truth and Creator.  He alone has the moral authority to dictate right and wrong.  We, as created beings, must recognize God’s authority over us and our responsibility to find and follow His purpose for us.

Students must have PRINCIPLES – To have principles FOR life, we must develop Christ-like character in thought, word, and action.

To fulfill our God-given purpose, we must have principles that are non-negotiable despite changes that are inevitable throughout life.  Principles such as commitment, integrity, and service, as seen in the life of Christ, call us to a counter-cultural life.  Our students are challenged to be set apart from the trends and cultural norms of society by adopting the Bible’s principles for life.

Students must have PASSION – To possess passion THROUGHOUT life, we must understand that all opportunities, abilities, and talents are to be used for the glory of God.

We are stewards of the life God has granted us.  All of life’s circumstances, whether pleasant or not, can be used to bring glory to God.  Our students are encouraged to develop their individual abilities and talents through leadership and service opportunities, and to strive for excellence, in every responsibility, no matter how small.

Our VISION

Our MISSION

CORE VALUES

To develop a generation of leaders with Biblical

PURPOSE, PRINCIPLES, and PASSION

who penetrate the darkness of our world with the light of the gospel of Christ.

“But you are a chosen generation…that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called youout of darkness into His marvelous light.”

(I Peter 2:9)

Our mission is to inspire and develop this generation to know their individual  God-given PURPOSE to adopt Biblical lifestyle PRINCIPLES, and to lead PASSIONATELY in their homes,

churches, and communities.  We do this by partnering with parents in their responsibility before God to train their children (Deut. 6:4-9) and by cooperating with the local church in

fulfilling the Great Commission (Matt 28:19).

PURPOSELY BIBLICAL:

We believe “all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Therefore, the Bible is our final authority in all matters of life.

UN-APOLOGETICALLY CHRISTIAN:

We unashamedly teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ alone as the power of God to salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16).  Therefore, we boldly proclaim that we are followers of Christ.

CHARACTER FOCUSED:

As Christ-followers, we imitate Him and develop the character traits in our lives that reflect Christ (1 Peter 2:21).

EXCELLENCE DRIVEN:

We are made in the image of God; therefore, all our work and actions should show His beauty and excellence.

(1 Corinthians 10:31)

ACADEMICALLY RESPONSIBLE:

Because we believe the Bible must be the center of all academic subjects, our students are held accountable and encouraged to give their best in all academic disciplines.

(2 Timothy 2:15)
