Heritage Christian School uses the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum, which is proven to be effective in teaching all the basic academic disciplines as well as instilling Godly Character into the lives of our students. The A.C.E. program offers you an academic curriculum that includes skill building, goal setting, reading practice, and character building—all with strong Biblical integration!

Each core subject consists of 12 PACEs per level. However, students are not locked-stepped by these levels. Students who are more skilled may accelerate in their areas of academic strength, while those who find the material more challenging may take as long as necessary to complete it. Each student, while working at his own level of proficiency, will master the material.

Heritage Christian School maintains a standard of excellence in all academic subjects. Each student is required to have an 80% mastery of the required work before progressing to the next level.

HIGH SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS​

A total of 23 high school credits must be earned before graduation. We encourage college bound students to earn 25 -27 credits. We offer three separate diploma which are as follows:

• General (Non-college) - 23 Credits

• College Preparatory - 25 Credits

• Honors - 27 Credits

A prescribed course of study for graduation will be determined for each high school student through a conference  among the principal, parent/guardian, and student. This study will be reviewed and adjusted each school year. 

 

Although Heritage Christian School does not have its own athletic program, our students are encouraged to participate in Hearts Toward Home athletic program. This is a local homeschool co-op with is a part of the ICSO Athletic Conference. Volleyball and Basketball are available for grades 5-12 for boys and girls. This program has its own requirements and fees that are separate from Heritage Christian School.
