Stephenie is married to Phil Brugger and they have 4 children, Blake, Kade, Chase, and Paige. Stephenie has a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education. She was raised in an educator’s home and has 10 years teaching experience. She is passionate about teaching young people to know God’s Word and be excellent in all they do. God instructed His people in Deuteronomy 11:19, “You shall teach them (God’s Commandments) to your children speaking of them when you sit in your house when you walk by the way, when you lie down , and when you rise up.” This tells us that responsibility never stops and encompasses everything we do. Teaching our children the academic disciplines from a Biblical viewpoint is critical. The Christian school exists to assist parents in this important task.
Mrs. Marsha Potteiger is our secretary and Music/Drama Teacher. She has five children – Breanna (Married to Kevin), Brittany (Married to Loren), Brooklynn, Zachary, and Trenton. She has a Bachelor of Arts in music from God’s Bible School. She has 20 years of experience in church ministry and Christian education. She believes that, “Parents are to teach their children to take captive every thought as to make it obedient to Christ (2 Cor. 10:15). Christian education, along with the parents, teaches students to be excellent in all things. We are to teach them to fight off the enemy’s attack with the Word of God, to boldly share God’s truth with others and to excel in their academics. We are teaching them to understand God’s truth and how to apply this truth to every situation.
Jennifer is married to Jeremy Elkins and she is in her third year of teaching. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from The Ohio State University. She has 10 years’ experience in church ministry with children and she believes that Christian Education sets the foundation of Biblical Principles in Children’s lives. She says, “The integration of Scriptures and the teaching of the Bible will better equip the child to face the world. Christian education seeks to develop young people into perceptive and caring Christians who will have the tools to influence the world for Christ.”
